Question:

How much does gasoline cost in, say, Japan, when it costs $3.30 a gallon in SoCal?
I remember being horrified at hearing gas cost $5 a gallon overseas a few years ago; yet we are pushing $3.50 a gallon here in SoCal, so I can't imagine what overseas gas must cost NOW! Anyone know?? Am I just being a big crybaby about it costing me 72 freaking dollars to fill my darn mini-van?!

A: Where I live it's about 142 yen for a liter of high octane (101 octanes) Regular which is abou 94 or so is 136 yen to the liter. It is 110yen to the dollar. So by conversion, it is about 1.24 for a liter of high octane gas. one gallon is 3.78 liters so it's roughly 4.8 to 5 bucks a gallon for unleaded ultra high octane. So there you go! You should be happy and thank Might Noxious Weed Bush for such low gas prices. LOL Just kidding.  

A: its £1.00 a liter in the uk ,witch i think is the highest,and we let the f***king labour party back in what a mistake.4 my car it cost me over £80.00 to fill it up.same thing again rip off Britain  

A: You have to remember other countrys sell it by the liter@ $5.70. Now like Britin when you by gas it does not matter how much, $2.00 of it goes towards your auto insurance. the same thing for Japan. Wish they did it here. But the stupid people here would not understand how it works.
