Have you ever gotten extra change and gone back to return it to the cashier?
I normally dont unless its something like what happened yesterday, i went to walgreens and got some stuff it was like $22.50 and i gave her a $50. well she gave me $72.50 back for some reason. It was some little high school girl so i didnt want to get her in trouble so i gave her the money back.
A-Best: I do go back to return extra change. I've been a cashier before and sometimes mistakes do happen. Anything short at the end of the day came out of my paycheck, so I always appreciated honesty from my customers if i screwed up!
A: Good for you! Was she cute? Would you have done it if she was ugly? Just curious...
A: Yes, I know what it's like to have your register off at the end of the day.
A: I remember doing that once in the past.
A: One time I went to the atm and it gave me an extra $20, I thought about keeping it, but I started feeling guilty so I gave it back the next morning, it was an instant karma boost!
A: ahh thats nice (:
no, i use it to go play the grabber machines in the store lol
A: Yes, I have. I follow the Golden Rule: Do Unto Others ...
A: no...I usually dont. shoot me.
A: Good Job!
Never happened to me before
A: My fiance and I were out to dinner one night, and funny enough we had a waitress that we had before and didn't quite like. Anyways, when the bill came, it was the wrong bill, and about half of what we were supposed to pay. So we ended up telling her, and turns out that it would have come out of her pay if we hadn't of done that (we asked her). Technically not returning money, but along the same lines... : )
A: I try to always give it back because it is an honest mistake and I don't want them to get in trouble at the end of the night when their register comes up short.
A: I did one time at a bar she gave me too much back and I gave it back to her, she did it 2 more times and I didnt.
A: I always do. Kids these days really don't know how to count cash back unfortunately.
The other day I went into the grocery store and purchased a book of stamps, she gave me the correct change however she gave me 2 books. I gladly gave her back the "extra" book of stamps.
She was grateful as most of them are.
A: i have and i haven't but now i believe in karma, always do the right thing!
A: Yea I do, well I'm always judged for the way I look so I try to show them that I am a honest person.
A: Yes. In every case I'm aware of.
A: That's happened to me a few times. I always give the money back to the cashier. I wouldn't want her to get in trouble over a couple of dollars. And it makes you feel good to be an honest person.
